On behalf of the officers and members of St. James AME Church, Elgin, IL, I greet you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and welcome you to our website. We are very happy that you have chosen to visit our electronic home. These pages will give you a taste of the Christ-centered worship experience and the numerous opportunities to serve God through St. James� organizations, ministries and activities. However, these pages cannot simulate the atmosphere of love, fellowship and belonging you will experience once you visit our church.  The St. James membership opens its hearts to you. We invite you to come see the Holy Spirit at work in our worship service and in every area of church life.
