Lay Organization
· Has your knowledge of African Methodism grown since you became a member of St. James?
· Do you know the spiritual, economic, social and political direction the church is going?
· Can you describe how your pastor, presiding elder and bishop are appointed to implement, manage and administer church policies?
If you cannot answer YES to any of these questions, then you need to become a member of the organizational laity!
· A voice in decision making
· Access to up-to-date info concerning the Church
· Opportunities for networking at your local church, the Conference, the 4th Episcopal District and throughout the connectional Church.
