80th Session, Church School Convention

Theme: "Extreme Makeover.....The Jesus Kind"
The 80th Session of the Milwaukee District Church School Convention was held at Gomez Chapel in Rockford, IL on June 16 & 17, 2005. Many workshops were held with a variety of topics geared toward youth and adult delagates alike. On the closing day of the convention there was an AME Idol presentation with celebrity judges and particpation from youth all across the district. The culmination of the event was the fellowship meal held at Levings Lake Park in Rockford. Many thanks to Presiding Elder Louis Toney, Rev. Garry S. Mitchell, District Church School Superintendent and Host Pastor Rev. Fred Lambert for making this event such a success. Til next year......
